More About Mountain Musher

We are a family owned and operated company. Wally runs the lead team and trains all of the dogs. Denise answers the phones and takes your reservation. Denise also makes the cocoa and homemade pumpkin bread served at our break on the trail. The kids, Sarah and Caleb help feed and water in the summer, and take puppies in the house daily to socialize them. Lets not forget Bill our best friend who's been with The Mountain Musher since the start of operation in 1989. Bill drives the shuttle van that picks you up and he runs the last sled on the trail. When you meet Bill you'll see why we've put him in charge of the entertainment.

We also have three pet dogs at home. A husky that won't work, an abadoned dog that decided our house looked like a good place to stay, and an accident dog who also comes on tours named Oreo who is a Border Collie, Golden Retriever, and Husky mix. One cat named Keefer who was also abandoned and has been with us for 13 years.

Dogsled tours isn't something we do just to make money, animals are our life and could not imagine our life with out them. Our dogs are so friendly and pet like, because they know we truly love them.

The fun doesn't stop in the summer, come summertime you'll find us raising, training, and competing on American Quarter horses.
