Mountain Musher Dog Sled Rides

General Information

One morning and one afternoon tour depart daily. Five sleds go out with each trip. Two people per sled. Age limit is 4 years old. Weight limit is 400 pounds for 2 people. It is a 6 mile ride that takes just under 2 hours. We stop at the turnaround area and have a drink and snack which is hot cocoa and homemade pumpkin bread. Guests need to dress for winter conditions. Hat, gloves, goggles, winter boots, ski wear or winter coat. Please, no furs. Because of varying trail conditions we do not take pregnant women.

The cost of $165.00/person is all inclusive with van shuttle from hotel, dog sled driver for each sled, a team of huskies, wool blankets and pillows and the snack. If you are a single or have an odd number of people it is $165.00 with us having the option of putting someone with you on the sled. If you want the sled to yourself then it is $330.00. Rate schedule for Christmas and New Years is $350.00/sled with no single charges. (12/19 - 1/5)

We will confirm pick up times 24 hours in advance.

Vail 8:00am pick-up with an 11:45am return.
     12:15pm pick-up with a 4:00pm return.

Beaver Creek 8:15am pick-up with an 11:30am return
                  12:30pm pick-up with a 3:45pm return.
